Mission Statement
RePublic Schools is a free, open-enrollment network of public charter schools serving approximately 3,000 scholars the majority of whom come from historically underserved communities, across six schools in two cities: Jackson, Mississippi and Nashville, Tennessee. Our network is dedicated to reimagining public education in the South by preparing scholars for college and teaching computer science.
We believe that computer science is an incredible pathway for our scholars. By learning front-end web development, robotics, app development, and other computer science disciplines, our scholars are building a unique skillset. By participating in The Big Payback, you’re giving our scholars the opportunity to continue their learning through being able to participate in internal and external summer programs and pursuing a post-secondary computer science education.
