With more than 27 years of experience in fund development for Middle Tennessee non-profits, Beverly Grant enthusiastically connects the community to the mission of First Steps, Inc. as the Director of Philanthropy.
Beverly’s passion for fundraising was ignited during her tenure as a Board member for various agencies, including Tennessee Special Olympics and Fiddlers Grove Foundation. In her entrepreneurial journey, Beverly founded Organizit!, a business focused on creating fundraising campaigns and events for more than 15 non-profit organizations in the Nashville area.
Her commitment to the professional development of the fundraising community is evident through her involvement as past Presidents of both local chapters of Grants Professional Association and Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is dedicated to teaching and mentoring aspiring development professionals to foster the growth of philanthropy for the next generation.
With her leadership roles and track record of successful fundraising campaigns, Beverly continues to seek out new ways to connect volunteers and donors to their own legacy of giving.
