Chief Development Officer, Interfaith Dental (she/her/hers)
With more than 26 years of experience in fund development for Middle Tennessee non-profits, Beverly Grant discovered her love of fundraising first as a Board member for agencies such as Tennessee Special Olympics and Fiddlers Grove Foundation/Wilson County Fair. With her own business, Organizit!, she contracted with a variety of local agencies to create fundraising events, administrate capital campaigns, create development and strategic plans and train staff and Board members. In 2006, she joined the staff of First Steps, Inc., becoming their first development director, moved to advocate for mental health at Park Center in 2008 and currently leads a dream team of fundraisers at Interfaith Dental since 2014.
She has served as the President for both local chapters of Grants Professional Association and Association of Fundraising Professionals. She continues to teach and mentor the next group of development professionals as the community continues to grow with the simple mantra of “Make a plan – Work the plan. Hold the vision – Trust the process.”
