Thanks to Brentwood Home Page and its sister publications in Franklin, Nolensville and Spring Hill, for helping us get the word out about YLC’s seventh annual partnership with Williamson, Inc. to train young professionals between the ages of 25-40, who live, work or do business in Williamson County, in 11 weekly sessions, beginning September 12. Each session, meeting on consecutive Thursdays through November 21, will meet from 8:00-10:30 a.m. at Williamson Inc.’s office in Cool Springs, and will cover board member responsibilities, strategic planning, nonprofit financials, legal responsibilities, conflict resolution, fundraising, and effective meetings, all of which are crucial skills needed for today’s nonprofit leadership roles. The graduates of the program will then serve a one-year internship on a local nonprofit board to put their newfound skills into action. The application deadline has been extended to July 20. Apply online at https://lnkd.in/eyswh_8 The participation fee is $550. Be a part of the premier organization for training nonprofit board leaders with more than 2,600 graduates in middle Tennessee making a difference since 1985. https://lnkd.in/eDJmWCx
